In a bid to ensure the protection of lives and
property, as well as safeguard the integrity of the Nigerian state during the forthcoming general elections,
the various Army Divisions, formations and units have embarked on intensive
training of personnel so as to ensure displays of the highest levels of
professionalism expected of them in the discharge of their duties. The training is targeted as ensuring that troops strive to maintain military ethic, as well as relate appropriately with law-abiding citizens during the voting processes.
