One of the
best ground warfare Armies in the world has for a while had its reputation
dragged through the mire owing to its perceived inability to effectively combat
terror on its own soil.
In recent
times however, the tide has changed with the rapid and wide-ranging
reorganization of the Nigerian Army which has seen the procurement of
state-of-the-art, modern warfare equipment, weapons, gadgets and devices
amongst others.
This

#1 THE MRAP-
MINE-RESISTANT AMBUSH PROTECTED VEHICLE
As the name
implies, this armoured vehicle is bomb-proof, mine-proof, rocket-propelled grenade-proof,
ambush-protected and Heavy machine gun-fire proof. So far, the Nigerian Army has
deployed thousands of such MRAPS in the war on terror, much to the terror of the terrorists who for so long have terrorised innocent people in Northern Nigeria.
