Renault
trucks Defense presented the VAB Mark 3 medium wheeled armoured vehicle in its
stand at the 11th exhibition of Homeland security in the middle
east, milipol Qatar, from 31 October to
2 November.
The
VAB Mark 3 is a 20 tonne 6x6 medium armoured vehicle which is as rugged and
reliable as its predecessor but with far superior capabilities through the use
of very advanced protection and mobility technologies: Increased power and
payload ( up to 4.7t) , larger internal volume, better tactical situational
awareness, reinforced protection.
Renault
Trucks Defense has envisioned several variants thanks to the modular VAB Mark 3
platform; Armoured Personnel Carrier, Infantry Combat Vehicle, Ambulance, ISTAR
