Following his earlier arrest and interrogation, Finnish police on Thursday released popular pro-Biafra separatist and agitator, Simon Ekpa, hours after the arrest.
Several media outlets had earlier reported how Finnish authorities arrested Ekpa, after which he was later released on Thursday evening after the police allegedly arrested him for a suspected criminal offence in Finland.
Accordingly, Finnish police claimed that its operation in Lahti where Ekpa lived, and the subsequent arrest of the pro-Biafra agitator were in connection with the ongoing preliminary investigation.
