Zamfara: Troops Neutralize Notorious Bandit, Yellow Mai Naira and 21 Others

Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD) have successfully killed some dreaded bandit kingpins including the notorious Yellow Mai Naira, Maikwahaara and 20 others in a well-coordinated clearance operation across the Joint Operations Area in Zamfara State. The bandits had been terrorising innocent citizens around Mayasa, Birane, Yanbuki, Kwashabawa and other villages around Zurmi LGA, some parts of Kaura Namoda, Shinkafi LGAs and Niger republic, for a long time before they met their Waterloo at the hands of troops. Troops also recovered arms, ammunition and other items during the operation.
