In another twist to the ongoing saga of the villagers kidnapped by terrorists from Wanzamai village in Tsafe Local Government Area of. Zamfara State on Friday April 8, 2023, a supposed list bearing the names of all the kidnapped 85 persons has surfaced.
This is coming as the Zamfara State Police Command has however claimed only 9 people were kidnapped, while also calling on the public to disregard the outrageous figures being circulated in some section of the Media.
Meticulous checks by the YATAB Network from sources on the ground in Zamfara, especially in Wanzamai community, have however revealed that the list is authentic.
One local who did not want his name to be mentioned, disclosed that indeed more than 80 persons were kidnapped by terrorists from the village recently.
