Suspected terrorists have invaded Aloko community in Oganenigu Ward of Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State in the early hours of Sunday 2nd April 2023.
According to sources familiar with the incident, the terrorists killed an unconfirmed number of persons and also razed several houses during the attack.
An intelligence source disclosed to the YATAB Network that the fully armed terrorists in their hundreds launched the bloody attack on the community, shooting at everything in sight and burning houses before leaving. Nigerian Army troops later arrived the scene and have restored normalcy to the community. Monitoring of the situation continues.
