Security operatives have restored peace and normalcy in some Kogi Communities after an armed bandits invaded communities in Ogani Enigu, Dekina Local Government of Kogi State in the early hours of Saturday 1st April 2023.
According to locals in the area, armed bandits stormed the communities in their numbers in the early hours of Saturday 1st April 2023, shooting sporadically with AK 47 rifles.
A non- governmental organisation, the YATAB Network, which is committed to anti-terror and banditry campaign in Africa, earlier reported that the communities were reportedly under serious attack by the armed bandits as residents scampered for saftey before security operatives arrived.
Kogi State, like many other North-central states, has been under serious bandits attacks in recent times.
