Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji have continue to decimate the ranks of terrorists in Zamfara with another major feat recorded on 3rd June 2023 where they neutralized several terrorists in a fierce gun duel.
This was disclosed to the YATAB Network by an intelligence source cloose to the operation.
Accordingly, OPHD troops deployed at Forward Operating Base Bakura, while on a fighting patrol on 3rd June 2023, received credible information of a terrorists' attack at Rogoji village in Bakura Local Government Area (LGA) and Salida village in Janbako District of Maradun LGA.
Troops immediately mobilized and deployed speedily to the area. On sighting the troops, the terrorists fled for dear life. However troops pursued and engaged them with heavy volume of fire, neutralizing 5 in the process. Troops also recovered 2 AK - 47 rifles and some special ammunition. Also, an unconfirmed number of animals were recovered from the criminals. The animals were duly handed over to their owners at Sakida Magaji village.
