Troops of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Operation Hadin Kai have neutralized scores of Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists on a fierce encounter following a failed raid by the terrorists on Monguno community in Borno State.
The YATAB Network gathered that the ISWAP terrorists, mounted on hilux trucks and motorcycles aggressively attacked MNJTF troops deployed along Marte Axis in Monguno on Saturday 5 Aug 23 for about 30 mins. However, the gallant MNJTF troops resisted and pushed the terrorists back.
Several impeccable intelligence sources disclosed to the YATAB Network that several terrorists were successfully killed while while others fled with fatal bullet wounds.
